DRINKS

We will always attempt to provide the precise range of drinks requested. At an average event we would provide:

• Branded draught lager/bitter e.g Fosters/Stella/JohN Smiths

• Branded Bottled beers e.g Budweiser/Becks/

• Branded Alcopops e.g Smirnoff Ice/VK

• Range of Soft Drinks/Juices

• Branded range of Spirits (6 – 8)

• Selection of Wines and Spirits (and champagne if required)

• A limited range of cocktails

Bottled drinks are served from chilled cabinets.

GLASSWEAR EQUIPMENT

For Health and Safety reasons and for easier transportation we generally serve drinks in plastic glasses. However, we will provide proper glass-wear on request.

All of our technical equipment (coolers and pumps) are subject to regular safety checks by qualified technicians to ensure all draught products are dispensed correctly.

LICENCE

For all locations requiring one we will make all the necessary arrangements for an appropriate licence (Temporary Events Notice). The cost of this will be included in any quote. In order that we can deal with any formalities in this regard we would ideally require one months notice. To comply with all legal requirements a Personal Licence Holder would be present throughout the duration of the event.

All of the mobile bars we provide operate under the Licensing act 2003.

With regards to this act licensing for venues falls into 2 separate categories:

LICENSED PREMISES

If the venue is already licensed we must have permission of the Designated Premises Supervisor for our bar to operate there.

UNLICENSED PREMISES

If the venue is not licensed and the event is for less than 499 people a Temporary Events Notice will need to be obtained from the local council and police authority. We can organise and pay for this as part of our service.

If you unaware as to the licence situation and wish to book our service we will be more than happy to make all the necessary enquiries on your behalf.

OPTIONS

Option 1 – Paying Bar

This is by far the most popular option. We apply for your ‘Temporary Events Notice’ and provide all equipment, all stock and cover all staffing needs. Your guests will pay for their drinks (at average pub prices) and consequently the cost to you is minimal. We ensure that you play a crucial part in the drinks menu for the occasion, and are quite happy to supply special items which may not usually feature on our drinks menu.

Option 2 – Free Bar Hire

If you want the peace of mind that your guests purse or wallet will remain intact then this is the option for you. We completely take away the headache of organising and supply everything required: an individually tailored bar, refrigeration tenders, ice, trained staff, and a full menu to suit your needs.

A fully stocked and staffed bar with our standard menu starts at just £12.50 per head based on a minimum of 100 guests and maximum period of 6 hours.

OUR REQUIREMENTS

For all of our events we require:

A source of power, generally two 13amp supplies will be sufficientA water source (for cleaning and washing of hands)A space to park the trailer/van. This needs to be adjacent to the marquee/hall to access stock loading/unloading.
